This Privacy Policy explains how Becontent ("we", "us", "our"), a video content agency based in Amman, Jordan, collects and uses data through the website becontentjo.com and the Becontent Views Tracker application (the "Service").

1. Data we collect

When an authorized person connects a social media account to the Service, we receive, through the platform's official API and only with the permissions granted:

• Basic profile information, such as the account's display name and a platform user identifier (TikTok scope: user.info.basic).
• Public video information and statistics, such as video ID, link, publish date and view count (TikTok scope: video.list).
• Access tokens issued by the platform, used only to request the data above.

We do not collect passwords, private messages, follower lists, contact information or any data from viewers of the content.

2. How we use the data

The data is used only to calculate and report daily view totals and growth for the accounts Becontent manages, for internal reporting to Becontent and the relevant client. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

3. Storage and security

Collected statistics are stored in access-restricted Google Sheets and processed by an automation workflow operated by Becontent. Access tokens are stored securely and are accessible only to Becontent staff who operate the Service.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent any data. Statistics for an account are shared only with Becontent staff and the client who owns that account. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep video statistics for as long as we manage the account, so we can report historical performance. When an account is disconnected or our engagement ends, we stop collecting data and delete the stored access tokens. You can request deletion of stored data by emailing us.

6. Your choices

You can revoke the Service's access at any time from the platform's settings (for TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services), or by contacting us.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children and is used only by Becontent staff.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
